Central heating Power flushing:

Why Power flushing:

The build up of sludge in your central heating system causes cold spots in your radiators. Over time a build up of nitrogen in the system will occur due to the clogging of pipes. This reduces the efficiency of your boiler, causing it to work overtime and therefore wasting energy and money. Your central heating system may require power flushing if you experience one or more of the following:
The system is very slow to heat up,
Noises from the boiler, (similar to the sound of a boiling kettle),
Cold spots in radiators, Discoloured radiator water,
Pump failure, Radiators need frequent bleeding,

What is power flushing:

Power flushing is a highly effective cleansing operation. We use a high volume, high velocity pump to break down harmful corrosion deposits. Specialist cleaning chemicals combined with an instantaneous flow reversal device, are used to create turbulence within the radiators to optimise the collection of the debris within the system. This results in the debris being eradicated from the system and then being filled with clean water and an inhibitor. Heat output to the radiators will then be increased due to the system being cleansed (including the under floor pipe work). You will then see a dramatic increase in your system efficiency.

SD Services have a special offer on power flushing in January. Contact us for further details.
